“If the poor boy cannot come to education, then education must go to him”.

The Ekal movement is the largest grassroots, non-government education movement in India, operating free schools in over 63,061 villages, as of Dec 2017 – educating over 1.7 million children annually in the poorest and remote corners of India.
The DFW Chapter of Ekal is thankful to our local community for their generosity in supporting literacy in 400+ Ekal villages every year, over the last 5 years.
